Abstract : The world has recently witnessed major technological shifts in the field of media. As we see social media has emerged, foremost among which is the Twitter platform. It is the most used by the Saudi public, which has brought about transformations in the field of life in general. Based on the above, the current study aims to measure the impact of opinions circulating on social networking sites (Twitter (model); on shaping the direction of Saudi public opinion towards Saudi women assuming leadership positions. To achieve the objectives of the study, the social survey method was used, and a questionnaire was designed as a tool to collect data from the study sample, which consisted of (460) individual men and women from Twitter users in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study concluded with many results, the most important of which are: The Twitter platform is the most used in social networking sites as a source of information, and knowledge of the latest developments came at the forefront of the reasons, followed by knowledge of the latest events. As for the benefits achieved from the use of social networking sites, the discussion with friends came first. Regarding the issue of women assuming leadership positions, and supporting gratification towards "obtaining sufficient information to form their point of view." And also they were able to learn about everything related to the issue of women holding leadership positions, "and they participated by writing their opinion on the Twitter platform about women assuming leadership positions." Regarding the sample's trends on the Twitter platform, it turned out to be a fertile area for exchanging views, and that it supported efforts to accept women assuming leadership positions. The study recommended qualifying Saudi youth with the necessary skills in how to use social networking sites, directing their opinions and developing their capabilities through the issues raised in the social media sites, and launching awareness campaigns, to increase the level of awareness in society of the role of women in leadership positions, and pay attention to the evaluation and feedback processes, while related The gratifications obtained from the use of social media, in relation to public opinion directing processes for society.
