The most important results of this study include the following: the concept of ethics of public relations practitioners in the public sector comes from Islamic principles. But in the private sector it comes from the organizational rules stated by the organization. Training courses are at the front of the sources of knowledge of the public relations practitioners. Responses of public relations practitioners in both sectors towards the two axis of this study; attitudes towards profession ethics with its dimensions and performance level are agreeing. The arithmetic averages for the profession ethics with its dimensions are 3.97 out of 5 while in the private sector 3.95 out of 5. For the performance axis, the arithmetic average in the public sector is 3.95 while it is 3.86 out of 5 in the private sector. There are no statistically significant differences in the responses of the individuals of the study sample towards the axis of the study. In addition, the results indicate a statistically connected relationship between the attitudes towards profession ethics and performance level in both sectors; the public sector and the private one.
