In addition to that, the study aimed to understand that the reason that impede the maximum benefit of foreign direct investment inflow to the Kingdom, As we know that, although, there are many efforts has been undertaken by the Kingdom to attract more of these investments, but the participation rate of foreign direct investment during the last twenty years has not achieved the required objectives. study data of the macro economic variables, are : the amounts of foreign direct investments flows, domestic investment, non oil exports, and labor productivity, an econometric study to examine the type of correlation relationship between the variables through employing three economic models. The first model aimed to study the impact of foreign direct investment on Gross Domestic Product. The second model aimed to measure the impact of (FDI) on non oil export, and the third model aimed to measure the impact of (FDI) on labor productivity. To analyze the data, ,the linear and logrethmatic models have been employed through using Linear multiple regression and correlation coefficient. After implementing these models was study has concluded by various results, the most important ones: although correlation coefficient shows that there a positive correlation relationship between (FDI) and (GDP), but the regression analysis either in the linear or logrethmatic model has shown that the (FDI) has affected on (GDP) negatively, and also it affect on non- oil export inversely. Also the study showed has shown that there is a negative relationship between labor productivity and (FDI). The study has recommended with the following results: there is a necessity to encourage foreign direct investment because, it represented a main stream that to increase the economic diversification of the Saudi economy, because (FDI) can be encouraged through concentrating on new investment packages of rewards that keep pace with international development, and through new methods that satisfy foreign investor objectives and lead to achieve the national economy objectives of these investments.
