Amjjad O. Sulaimani is an assistant professor at King Abdul Aziz University KAU, Saudi Arabia. She obtained her Ph.D. in modern languages from the University of Southampton in 2022. Her thesis explored the effect of gender representation in EFL textbooks on female teachers' professional identity in Saudi Arabia. Sulaimani’s research interests include language and gender, critical pedagogy, TESOL methodology, and language teachers’ identity.
